Hi! I'm Devin Humphrey, I'm a junior at the University of Colorado Boulder studying Strategic Communications and Sports Media. Growing up in North Carolina I paid the most attention to surfing. As a young teen, I was forced to learn to snowboard courtesy of my dad who lives, eats, and breathes snowboarding. Even though I was not very keen on it at first I will never be able to thank my dad enough. My love for this sport has grown so much and I can't wait to share it with all of you. Riding various mountains has brought me friends, memories, and new skills. At first, I was intimidated by other boarders on the mountain and was scared to go because I didn't think I was good enough, now I count down the days until the lifts open. Through this blog, I want to share my love and passion for this amazing community with everyone because trust me girls shred like no other and it is important to spotlight the females in male-dominated sports.
